Hi! My name is Rosemary, and I’m addicted to words.
My habit started at a young age. On road trips, my father would yell to me in the backseat, “Rosie, put that book down and look at the scenery!” When my mother called me to the kitchen for a lesson in dinner preparation, I’d turn another page of my novel and remind her that I could read, therefore I could follow a recipe. As a middle schooler, while my older sister was out partying, I was at home penning the short story she’d been assigned to write for her high school English class.
What can I say? My love for reading is exceeded only by my love for writing.
I hope you enjoy reading my novel as much as I loved writing it.
